Our Mission
At Dance Soul, teaching dance is our passion. We believe that dance is for everyone; every age, every ability, every level. We want all of our students to understand what it means to let the music guide you, and the value of an honest performance. We want you to feel the beat, and in doing so feed your soul!Five reasons which make us the best choice for you.
Over 12, 000 square feet of studio space, change rooms and lounges.At Dance Soul, we have 4 spacious studios with natural lighting, viewing windows, 10 foot mirrors, and sprung flooring. Not to mention our great parking strip, spacious lounge areas, homework zones, kitchen area and 3 change rooms to accommodate different levels of student maturity. Plus you never have to shuffle your children from one studio to another location!
Quality Instruction
Our faculty is passionate about dance and for most it is a full time job. They attend master workshops throughout North America on an annual basis. Our instructors are educated, innovative, award winning and in high demand throughout Western Canada as guest instructors, choreographers and adjudicators.
Smaller Class Sizes
Our smaller class sizes allow students to get more individual instruction from teachers, and as a result progress at a faster level than in a large class environment. Smaller class sizes also ensure that the teacher can catch any problems before they turn into bad habits or improper techniques.
Diverse Programming
We offer over 100 classes a week with the widest range of dance programming in the Parkland area. Our list of classes includes: Broadway Babies, Broadway Kids, Boogie Bots Hip Hop, Theatrical Tots, Kinderdance, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Pointe, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical Jazz, Theatre Jazz, Breakdance and more! From Pre-School to Adult, Beginner to Advanced, Recreational to Competitive, we have it covered!
Travel Opportunities
Dance Soul members have the opportunity to study dance both nationally and internationally. Every fall we travel to Calgary or Vancouver to take conventions from the industry’s top choreographers and dancers. When festival season hits in the spring we can be found travelling Alberta to Calgary and Banff while our summer months are spent attending dance intensives from New York and Chicago to Los Angeles, Vancouver and Toronto. Creating wonderful experiences with people that share the same interests and passions as you produce memories that last a life time!
